The Transitions 2009 Team

The Transitions 2009 project team consists entirely of students in the GW MS in Project Management program. We have been working hard to make Transitions 2009 a reality and we look forward to seeing you on June 27th.

  • Project Manager: Ronald Schmelzer, Jr.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Matthew Levy, PMP
  • Matthew is a career project manager with experience mainly in IT and business process redesign projects. He is currently running projects within the federal government associated with growing a major government application, including projects to maintain its security and compliance ratings/approvals.

    Matthew's recent experience includes Web 2.0 product implementations and the business process redesign/transformation that goes with the complex changes SasS and collaboration software introduces to traditional businesses. He has a significant Genesys CTI implementation under his belt, along with a plethora of IT systems and security projects.

    He is nearing the completion Masters of Science in Project Management (MSPM), at The George Washington University. His spare time is spent enjoy many single malt scotches, fine cigars, violent and politically incorrect video games, movies involving secret treasure, The Office, and cheese burgers.
